Sajan Dangol completed 9,218 football touches using alternating feet in one hour at Lordswood Boys School in Birmingham, establishing a major milestone in his football and world-record journey.

Birmingham, United Kingdom — 8 October 2026 — Sajan Dangol has officially documented his 2024 Guinness World Record achievement for completing 9,218 football touches using alternating feet in one hour.
The record attempt took place at Lordswood Boys School in Birmingham on 16 February 2024.
MWW, where Sajan was working at the time, documented the achievement and reported that he completed 9,218 alternating-foot football touches during the successful one-hour attempt. The organisation also described the support provided by colleagues who helped organise, document and support the challenge.
The achievement represented far more than one hour of football control.
Behind the final number were preparation, repetition, technical consistency and the ability to remain focused throughout a sustained challenge.
The achievement became Sajan's first major world-record milestone and established an important foundation for the increasingly ambitious challenges that followed.
Recognition extended beyond the original attempt. In October 2024, the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) formally felicitated Sajan in recognition of his Guinness World Record for the most football touches with alternating feet in one hour. ANFA cited the total of 9,218 touches and also announced a cash award of NPR 50,000.
The achievement reinforced one of the central principles behind Sajan's journey:
Extraordinary results are rarely created through one extraordinary action.
They are built through ordinary actions repeated with discipline.
One touch.
Then another.
Then another.
9,218
Football touches.

Record status note
This release documents Sajan Dangol's 2024 Guinness World Record achievement.
This is a historical achievement, not the current one-hour alternating-feet title. Guinness World Records lists Qi Tao of China with 10,352 touches, achieved on 2 July 2026.
This does not change Sajan's status as a Guinness World Record achiever; it simply distinguishes a historic record achievement from the current record holder.
